New product : MV Agusta Rivale 800 Arrives on the Market October 26

October 14, 2013 – The Rivale 800 sets new standards in design, technology and rider handling. Emotions, sensations, safety and performance are combined in the new Rivale 800 in perfect harmony. Resulting in countless moments of extreme excitement.

Its three-cylinder in-line 125 hp engine is the most powerful in its class, whilst simultaneously boasting fluid and linear power output. MotoGP derived technical solutions, such as the counter rotating crankshaft and a weight of only 52 kg, makes it the most advanced 800cc engine in production, ideally designed for accommodating the precise chassis of the new Rivale.

The Electronically Assisted Shift (EAS) allows for super quick gear changes, while the modern LCD dashboard has been designed to be both easy to read in any situation and to provide all relevant information to the rider, providing full control over the range of different electronic settings that characterise this bike.

The MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) platform coordinates the new 4th generation engine mapping systems, while the Full Ride By Wire accelerator and the advanced eight-level traction control allows the rider to customize the engine response, rev limiter, engine torque response, throttle sensitivity and engine brake.

The frame is designed in the MV Agusta tradition, with the front section in steel tubing and the middle section characterized by light aluminium alloy plates, with the magnificent single sided swingarm completing the unique rear end.

The most exclusive and advanced technology on the market is grounded in the unmatched design that characterizes each MV Agusta. The Rivale 800 EAS will be available to purchase from 12,690 EUR (17,210 USD) (Every country could have a price variation due to local import duties and taxes).

On Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October, across the whole of Europe the specially selected MV Agusta sales network will present the Rivale 800, with on road test rides.
